Ten multifunctional exhibition halls form the core of
the exhibition site. Linking the traditional with the modern, the Frankfurt
Trade Fair site offers every imaginable facility for many different
event and trade fair concepts. All halls have air heating, most of them
are partly air-conditioned. Behind the impressive glass facade of the
Congress Center, a large, flexibly divisable hall for up to 2,200 delegates,
as well as conference rooms, offices, boardrooms, a VIP lounge and

area covers 76,000 square metres.
The Festhalle is conspicuously located on the trade fair
grounds. Situated between the 256 metre -high Trade Fair Tower and
the Congress Center Messe Frankfurt, the Festhalle immediately catches
the eye. Built in 1909, the Festhalle Messe Frankfurt (Messe Frankfurt
Festival Hall) was considered an epoch-making architectural structure
with its
unsupported dome construction made of steel and glass. For many people
today, the "Gudd Stubb" (Good Room), as it
is fondly called locally, is still one of the most beautiful of all
events venues.
